Directions by train From Amsterdam Central Station take the train (not the Intercity) to Alkmaar as far as Koog-Zaandijk station. This will take no more than 20 minutes. From the station, Zaanse Schans is a 10 minute walk. Direction by bus From Amsterdam Central Station there is a direct bus connection, each 30 minutes to the Zaanse Schans, which stops on 5 minutes walking distance from the Zaanse Schans. Directions by car From Amsterdam: A8 in the direction of Zaanstad/Purmerend, turn off at Purmerend A7. Then in the direction Zaanse Schans follow signs "Zaanse Schans". From Alkmaar: A9 in the direction Zaanstad, turn off at N203 to Wormerveer/Zaandam. Then in the direction Zaanse Schans follow signs "Zaanse Schans". |
